The first closed-loop yoga mat:
-Developed with the Fraunhofer Institute and in close cooperation with yoga teachers.
-Durable & hygienic: closed-loop surface does not absorb sweat.
-Structured surface for unique grip
-Includes hejhej band made from organic cotton
-With a width of 65 cm, wider than most yoga mats for extra space and comfort.
-Extra soft for knees and spine with 5 mm thickness while maintaining firmness for balance and stability.
-Please note that each hejhej-mat is unique and the bright colors of the speckles vary depending on production.
SOCIAL
-Cooperation with workshops for people with disabilities: The logo is sewn onto your hejhej-mat there. The workshop packs your hejhej-mat and sends it to you plastic-free and climate-neutral.
-1€ per hejhej-mat goes to the NGO EarthChild Project. It gives children in the townships of Cape Town access to yoga and environmental education.
ECOLOGICAL
-100% production in Germany.
CO2-neutral production: The production hall is equipped with solar modules, which are used to power the machines.
-Approx. 1.5 kg of foam waste is upcycled per hejhej-mat. Thanks to the closed product cycle, these resources are recycled again and again into yoga mats and yoga blocks.
-The logo on the hejhej-mat is made from biodegradable hemp.

For the FIRE product series, old fire extinguishers and gas bottles are recycled. Waste products are converted
into new, high-quality products. The reuse of what is already there reduces the production of new raw materials.
The products can be broken down into their component parts for disposal and fed into the recycling cycle.

CARE
The hejhej-mats yoga mat is particularly sustainable and designed for longevity.
To maintain the outstanding quality, please follow our care instructions:
-Use a slightly damp cloth to clean your hejhej-mat.
-You can also use the hejhej-spray to clean the yoga mat. Apply 1 to 2 pumps to your hejhej-mat and wipe off with a dry cloth. It can also be used as a room spray before or after yoga practice.
-Not machine washable, please do not rinse completely.
-Avoid direct sunlight with the bright hejhej-mat. We do not use chemical sun protection, as this is better for the environment and healthier for us humans. Therefore, store your hejhej-mat in a place protected from light, for example in your hejhej-bag, to avoid color changes. Please note: Color changes have no effect on the functionality, durability and quality of the hejhej-mat.
